The balanced life of george bush
Did everybod see what President Geo WB told Cox News about why he could find time for a bike ride on Saturday but not to meet with Cindy Sheehan, who is camping out near his Prairie Church getaway in a grieving anti-war protest at the loss of her soldier son :
"I think it's important for me to be thoughtful and sensitive to those who have got something to say. But I think it's also important for me to go on with my life, to keep a balanced life ... I think the people want the president to be in a position to make good, crisp decisions and to stay healthy. And part of my being is to be outside exercising. So I'm mindful of what goes on around me. On the other hand, I'm also mindful that I've got a life to live and will do so."
mindful, balanced, and damit people like me.
i'm frightened.

Why does he need to waste his time with that woman anyway? He already met with her once, and has no further obligation to do so (nor did he have an obligation to do so the first time). She's a real tool. She dishonors her son so blatently by making him a symbol he most likely would not have wanted to be if he was alive. He volunteered to serve his country and he knew the risks and what he was doing and chose to serve anyway. It's brave men and women like him who are a credit to this country and cowardly, media-twisted, politically driven idealouges like Cindy Sheehan who are a discredit. She's not a valiant protestor, she's a sick woman who is lending the legacy of her son to leftist bullshit.

akijikan - maybe so.
i'm not even saying i think he should meet with her.
but he spoke into a microphone about it and blew it. the moronic ramblings of of Our Executive In Chief Leader of the Free World is what is so frightening. he is a goofy idiot who can't even take the advice of his handlers without tripping all over himself. why? because he simply never quite gets what is coming out of his own mouth. he is such an un natural man let alone president.
sheehan, while a self-serving disgrace to some and a galvanizing hero to others is merely the lightening rod that has struck the political vacuum of the antiwar "movement." Her personal specifics don't even really matter necessarily now. eventually that vacuum would have been filled with something or another in the antiwar direction. sheehan is the Tool. the fact that the vacuum was filled by a lone but well choreographed act then rippled into a motivational event for likeminds around the country is simply a way to take the national temperature on the issue and proof many are looking for someone to get behind on the issue. 70 insurgent attacks a day and counting. 80 more pictures / videos of prison abuse. seems more people are less in favor of being over there now, regardless of how we got there and how much we love our boys for fighting for our freedom. see, we love/hate the fact that we're usually good at war because we usually win. now we're not in such good shape. the world is certainly not safer. and it might become hip again to be a protester.
its all just a mosquito in W's ear. Pesky white noise disturbing his mindfully balanced life while on vacation. poor guy never gets a day off trying to grab some balance out there on the ranch is that too much to ask? "i don't want to be the leader today. and thats ok cuz people want their president to play the escapist american too. ok? so, are we through here cuz i was in the middle of killing stuff out back. it really relaxes me ."
